Two Main Line moms and accomplished business executives, Marla Carson and Jody Guokas Kuntz, have enthusiastically ventured into the world of vintage curation, antique shopping, treasure hunting, selling and decorating. Introducing: W. Hayman Vintage.

W. Hayman Vintage is the catchy and funky moniker of the business Carson and Kuntz, respectively, put together in early Spring of 2026. They travel around the region and even abroad (Italy!) searching for the most unique and coveted treasures at flea markets, antique shows, yard sales, consignment shops and more. They turn around and resell those items one-on-one to customers, at curated pop-ups (more on that soon) or pitch the finds to the interior design community they are building relationships with. They are also hired by individuals to seek out certain design items that they themselves don’t have the time or the resources to find.

In addition, W. Hayman is marketing themselves as wanderlust interior designers without the formality or snobbery that comes with a traditional hire. A summer project involved transforming the front porch of a Havertown home with vintage, country flair. Their customer Julie beamed “Loved all that you did for my front porch-I get so many compliments and it created a warm and welcoming space for all of us!”

Carson is a Havertown native, former Archbishop Carroll field hockey star (and teammate of AroundMainLine.com publisher Sarah Lockard), and recently wrapped up a 29 year illustrious career at SEI Investments in Oaks. Kuntz, a Hayman founding partner, is the CEO of Main Line Senior Management–a successful business that provides concierge administrative services to local seniors.

The pair recently completed an assignment in Avalon for the Union League Whitebrier. The Union League acquired the Whitebrier, a popular bar and summer watering hole for many generations of shore people, and transformed it into an exclusive members-only spot. And W. Hayman was in on it. Carson and Kuntz got to work hunting down and decorating the bar space with one-of-a-kind coastal, curated pieces including framing retro bathing suits in a cheeky wall collage! It received a ton of play and compliments on their instagram here.

W. Hayman has posted on social media their New England adventures at the Antiques Olympics–also known as Brimfield. Brimfield Antique and Flea Market, located in Brimfield, Massachusetts, has its final market of the year this week through Sunday, September 13th. Over its 65-year span, it has become the largest outdoor market of its kind attracting tens of thousands of shoppers from around the world. Over 250,000 people attend the thrice-a year planned and heavily promoted markets! The closest thing to Brimfield on the Main Line is the St. David’s Church 175th Annual Country Fair, which is back this fall on Saturday, October 3rd. The St. David’s tradition and selling extravaganza has spiraled into such massive crowds they are now bussing people in from the Devon Horse Show parking lots!

Getting to Brimfield for first blood, navigating the insane traffic that starts predawn, figuring out the lay of the land and even where to go potty is a sport in and of itself. And for many vintage lovers who would love to be a part of it, it’s just too much time, hassle and money with long days and possibly frustrated outcomes in the end.

Now W. Hayman Vintage is literally bringing Brimfield to the Main Line! They are hosting a highly anticipated vintage pop-up event in Newtown Square at the end of the month. Expect large crowds for two days of treasures and 9 months of antiquing and seeking all under one roof, from Marla and Jody’s time scouring and shopping since March at Brimfield and beyond. With the palpable local buzz building and their socials gaining speed, these ladies just might be looking at chartering their shoppers this fall too to their highly anticipated Main Line debut!
