Christmas at the Cabin is Troop 76G’s annual holiday event, and fundraiser, featuring Christmas trees, wreaths, crafts, hot cocoa, holiday music and festive fun for all ages. The Troop is female-based and part of Scouting of America.
It returns on Saturday, November 29th starting at 9am at the historic Malvern Cabin. The fundraiser will go on until the tree sale is sold out. There are free photos with Santa Claus from 10am to 12pm and dogs are welcome as it is a pet-friendly event.
Guests can look forward to a festive, family-friendly holiday experience! Stroll through rows of fresh Christmas trees and wreaths, create your own crafts, decorate a gingerbread house, and sip hot cocoa by the fire-all while soaking in the cozy charm of the historic Chester County Cabin, beautifully decorated for the season. Scouts and families come together for this second annual event to make it a warm, welcoming celebration brimming with community spirit and holiday cheer.
“Our second year of Christmas at the Cabin carries forward a cherished tradition. Many of our older Scouts once sold Christmas trees and were determined to keep that spirit alive. With the Cabin’s rustic charm and festive glow, it’s easy to feel the joy and anticipation of the holidays all around,” explained Amee Feager-Davis, Troop 76G Community Ambassador and Scout Mom.
