Brook Isle Co. opened in Chester Springs in February of 2026 and has had a glorious surge of excitement on social media–and with local women looking for and loving their bespoke home decor experience. Owner Rachel Caldwell is a twenty-year veteran of the fine art and graphic design industries who brings a love for both the realistic and the surrealistic. Rachel seamlessly ushers in a polished, old-world ease with a refined, eclectic approach to color in her shop. She mixes whimsy with classic styles and vintage-inspired designs. At Brook Isle, we love the nods to wildlife and botanicals throughout the shop–there are plenty of butterflies, bunnies, and bees floating and hopping around in her perfectly designed vignettes.
On the front door of Caldwell’s flagship Chester Springs store it reads “the pursuit of joy.” j’adore! It makes us want to shop small.

We’ve been longtime Cricket’s customers for many moons so we were excited to see them as part of this shopping collaboration! Cricket’s Antiques and Garden Market is located in an old, two-story bank barn in beautiful Glenmoore. It is absolutely massive with 8,000 square feet of shopping and over 80 dealers filled to the brim with booths of antiques, jewelry, artisans, primitives, gardening wares, and more. The first floor alone has three aisles and an annex. They are open seven days a week 10am-5pm. In addition, they have an acre of outdoor treasures! Downingtown Vintage is owned by Gail Tyson, a Chester County entrepreneur who is passionate about vintage decor, antiques and community connection. “I’m so grateful for the support and encouragement that comes our way with every purchase and kind word,” enthused Tyson recently on Facebook. The shop is located in the heart of downtown and has become an important part of the Downingtown small business landscape. Gail does an excellent job on social media uploading current shop photos just about every day–we love following along and “window shopping” especially since she has so much fall and Halloween decor in now!
The shop features seasonal decor, antiques, collectibles, ceramics, art, homemade candles, purses, cast iron, gourmet food items, vintage jewelry, furniture, nautical decor, nifty items and more. With over 50 dealers and artists selling eclectic and original merchandise, there is plenty to see. “DV” as they lovingly call themselves on social channels, is 4200 square feet, 2 floors and 2 car garage full of amazing merchandise. Downingtown Vintage is open Monday thru Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
