The Surrey Consignment Shop benefits Surrey Services for Seniors, a popular and beloved Chester County nonprofit serving seniors in a dynamic, community-based way for almost 45 years.
With the cultural phenomenon of the biopic Love Story (released February 12th and streaming on Hulu and Fx) showing no signs of losing steam, the fashion world and women everywhere are paying homage to the timeless fashion of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. An iconic Prada camel coat once worn by CBK recently sold earlier this month at auction for $192,000. The pre-auction estimate was $15,000-$30,000. The coat is one of the most widely photographed pieces from CBK’s minimalist wardrobe as she was often photographed wearing it in paparazzi images while walking in Tribeca with JFK Jr. in the late ‘90s.
Needless to say, vintage Prada everything and anything is also seeing a resurgence with the sequel to A Devil Wear’s Prada coming to theaters on May 1st. Did you watch the Oscars the other night? Enough said.
Fast forward in our little “90s everything rocks” time machine in 2026 around the Main Line. This weekend Phoenixville’s TC House of Style is hosting a Spring a Pop Up Shop at Surrey Consignment Shop, and you’re all invited. On Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st shop eclectic vintage, rare designer, one-of-a-kinds, & pre-loved finds with TC House of Style owner Theresa Brewer including labels like: Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. You might recognize this small business name–TC House of Style had a beloved and popular downtown Phoenixville, PA shop that closed its doors on December 23rd.
