A weekend of creativity, entertainment and community is the vibe of the 2nd annual Chalk Fest in Chester.

Color Me Bad! The second annual Chalk Fest promises tributes to local Philly teams and the America 250 celebration from participating artists!

Chalk Art has come into its own over the past few years with competitions and events popping up all over America. And last summer the Philadelphia region dove into the community trend with a first-ever event of its kind.

Get ready for a colorful, can’t-miss weekend as the Second Annual Delco Chalk Fest returns this August to Subaru Park in Chester.

Organized by Visit Delco, Reaney Street will transform into an open-air gallery as professional chalk artists from across the country create stunning, life-sized works of art right before your eyes. Some pieces will even feature jaw-dropping 3-D designs that invite you to step in and become part of the masterpiece.

And the creativity doesn’t stop there. With plenty of chalk available, guests of all ages are invited to grab a spot on the pavement and create their own works of art. Do not forget to use the event hashtag: #delcochalkfest
