Boots on the Ground! This is a party you absolutely cannot miss. Grab your best looking barn boots, all your besties and kick up your heels for an unforgettable afternoon in support of forest and wildlife conservation at the beautiful 240-acre Garrett Williamson Farm in Newtown Square. The first ever Forest Fest, benefitting The Ruffed Grouse Society & American Woodcock Society, will bring together live music, line dancing, local Philly food truck favs, outdoor games, auctions, raffles, and more!

Forest Fest is Saturday, September 12th from 2pm to 8pm. The inaugural event and fundraiser directly supports Ruffed Grouse’s conservation initiatives that are focused on sustaining healthy forests, protecting wildlife habitat, and preserving outdoor traditions for future generations. Your attendance helps to progress meaningful conservation work and educational outreach throughout the region.

Tickets for the event are $130 each. Discounts are available for group purchases. Each ticket includes open bar service featuring beer and ready-to-drink cocktails. Music is a huge part of this bespoke experience that has been carefully curated by the organizers. Sip and swing the day away to outstanding live entertainment by Megan Knight and The 29ers, line dancing, gourmet food trucks, corn hole and more! In addition, DJ Ashley Rose will be leading the line dancing, so whether you’re a seasoned dancer or giving it a try for the first time, there’s a place for you on the dance floor!

The Ruffed Grouse Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the critical needs of woodland wildlife. They unite conservationists to improve wildlife habitat and forest health for ruffed grouse, American woodcock and all forest wildlife. In addition, they promote forest stewardship for our forests, our wildlife and our future.

The Ruffed Grouse Society Facebook Page has been very active with enthusiastic Forest Fest updates–including showcasing the incredible auction items they are collecting for the event. We highly suggest you follow them here to join in the community excitement for this tremendous day.
