Purple is the theme of the night at the annual Cradles to Crayons colorful fundraiser–so start looking in your closets for shades of lavender, lilac, plum and violet drip. Dress to impress and wow all your IG and Tiktok followers!

The Philadelphia Chapter of Cradles to Crayons is hosting their very fun colorful, fundraising event on Friday, March 20th at The Giving Factory.

Cradles to Crayons is a non-profit organization that provides children (from birth through age twelve) living in homeless or low-income situations with essential items—such as clothing, shoes, diapers, and school supplies—free of charge. Founded in 2002, the organization works to combat clothing insecurity by engaging communities to donate new and nearly-new items.

Guests of the Purple Party, now in its 10th year, are highly encouraged to wear a shade of purple and be very creative–from clothes to shoes to accessories, hair styles (think temporary hair dye!) and even iPhone cases! The party is a fantastic evening complete with C2C craft cocktails, delicious appetizers and sweet treats, plus music, dancing, and exciting auction items—all in support of keeping kids warm this winter. All proceeds will benefit the Gear Up for Winter initiative, which provides coats and warm clothing to more than 35,000 local children across the Delaware Valley.

In addition, join the Cradles to Crayons family in celebrating Executive Director, Michal Smith’s 15 years of leadership and service.
