It is one of the most highly anticipated and popular dining nights of the entire year for restaurants around the world–New Year’s Eve. And right here in our own backyards it is no different. With the addition of some outstanding new faces around the Main Line in 2025, the suburban Philly dining scene has never had more options–and celebrations–to choose from. It was hard to keep this to a quiet roar of best choices when we gathered up all the options. My inbox has been completely blowing up with restaurant emails and outstanding NYE promos!

Without further ado, here are my personal last-minute picks for your Wednesday night celebrations–as you look back on 2025 and, most importantly, look forward to 2026.

Backstage Tap & Grille

Quaint and quiet Lansdowne could certainly use a dining glow up and Backstage Tap & Grille delivered just that earlier this year. They raised their curtain to a round of applause and culinary kudos when they opened their gastropub in August.

Located directly across from the Lansdowne Theater with ample street parking, the restaurant is a top Delco choice to ring in 2026. Chef Dan Brodeur’s NYE menu highlights include: grilled artichokes, scallops & bacon, clams casino, stuffed portobello mushroom, crab bisque, holiday duck, stuffed flounder, filet oscar, eggplant parm and more.

The brand new location for this American icon of steakhouses opened in Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square on March 31st this year–and you can help them ring in their very first New Year’s Eve in style. Expect an elegant celebration filled with festive flavors, sparkling moments, and all your Ruth’s Chris favorites. For those who want to get their NYE jawn on early on (yeah, that would be us too!), Teca in West Chester is open at 11am and is taking reservations until 9pm. Teca is offering a special NYE menu with chef specials that include: lobster ravioli, grilled tiger shrimp, branzino, center cut veal rib chop, broccoli rabe & sausage, ossobuco alla milanese, norwegian salmon burrata del giorno and classic italian desserts like tiramisu, mini cannolis and ricotta cheesecake. Chadds Ford Tavern

Chadds Ford Tavern wants you to ring in the New Year in the heart of historic Chester County. They are offering a NYE buffet with numerous appetizers, raw bar and entree selections for $69.95 per person. Children 8 and under are $29.95. Aroma is the newest kid on the block in Conshy having opened in the iconic, former Stella Blu brick building on the corner of Ford and Front Streets on November 14th. They are offering their regular menu on NYE and have walk-in seating available at the cozy, sexy bar. Makes for a great singles and girls spot to meet up! Menu highlights include: grilled melanzane, sausage & broccoli rabe, baked clams, penne alla vodka, fettuccine porcini, sacchetti tartufo, crab cakes, short rib and branzino.

Burton’s Grill

Main Line newbie Burton’s Grill, which opened this fall in the former Chili’s location, is celebrating their very first NYE in my hometown of Wayne. They will be open regular hours on Wednesday, December 31st (11am to 10pm) offering their regular menus. The big 2026 celebration, however, starts on January 1st as Burton’s indulges you in four days straight of brunch. Yes indeedy! Brunch will be served January 1st through Sunday, January 4th from 10:30am to 3:00pm. Can we say Hair of the Dog X 4?

Brunch menu highlights include: bag of donuts, truffle & goat cheese frittata, crab cake benedict, short rib hash, cast iron french toast, thai steak bowl, lobster roll, pappardelle bolognese, chicken & waffles and crab-crusted haddock.

The selections at Brandywine Prime for NYE are scrumptious and include: Kennett Square mushroom tart, lobster bisque, iceberg wedge sala, a raw bar sampler, housemade seafood ravioli, crab cocktail and griled swordfish.
