Our March ‘Boss Babe’ is Lauren Carabelli owner of Ninety One Creations–a New Jersey watercolor business that specializes in weddings, stationary and custom drawings. Carabelli is a mom of two young tykes who resides in Princeton, New Jersey with her husband–her biggest supporter and a full-time firefighter.
We discovered Lauren through our AroundMainLine client, the Philadelphia Wedding Walk. Lauren is one of over 100 curated vendors participating in the March 22nd Center City inaugural event. ICYMI on our Instagram and Facebook pages, like the rest of America right now, AroundMainLine is Love Story: John F. Kennedy, Jr. and Carolyn Bessette obsessed. So, we asked Ninety One Creations to paint the most famous wedding photo (and a coordinating photo of the couple with their dog Friday) of all time in honor of all things CBK. And, quite frankly, our hearts have never been fuller. We loved CBK and her Prince then…just as much as we do now. Great job Lauren on the ultimate AML girl tribe collab.

My husband, Ava (age 5), Franco (age 2), and the most supportive and generous parents in the world. I also couldn’t do what I do without my Aunt Sue.
“A good friend of mine asked me to do this for her sister’s wedding. I told her I wasn’t sure if I could do this or not, and she said “I know you can.” So I drew the guests at the wedding and was so nervous the entire time, but everyone loved their portraits. After that one wedding, I was able to book another…then another. Now I have my own business and get to be home with my kids most of the time. Every once in a while I will send my friend a text and thank her again for pushing me to do this.”
