On the 2nd Saturday of every month, over 30 businesses on and around State Street in Media stay open late as part of a free and popular arts event.
From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, shops, galleries and cafes host local musicians or display the work of local artists. Visitors can stroll the friendly streets of Media to find music, art and participating shops.
2nd Saturday creates opportunities for local artists and musicians to share their talents. The Media Arts Council regularly holds gallery openings and special events as a part of 2nd Saturday.
2nd Saturday is a fantastic event for a date, for the family, or to go out with friends! The Arts Stroll is free of charge.

The Theremin: True Magic in Music
Delaware County Institute of Science
7:00 pm-7:45 pm
An evening of holiday songs performed by expert Theremin and Musical Saw player, Kip Rosser. Totally unique among instruments, nothing before or since has ever captured the imaginations of spectators and musicians in the way this unassuming “box” does. A union of sight and sound, the hands move in empty space while haunting music of astonishing power and beauty fills the air. Kip Rosser brings artistry, innovation, warmth and humor to his music.
