Guess who is back and better than EVER? Main Line Restaurant Week Fall 2012!

Main Line Restaurant Week, Philly’s largest suburban dining event, returns this fall with dozens of top restaurants from the Main Line and western suburbs. Main Line Restaurant Week is organized by AroundMainLine.com. This season marks the fifth run for the twice annual event founded in 2010.

Main Line Restaurant Week kicks off Monday, September 24th and runs through Sunday, September 30th.

MLRW is an exciting opportunity for the culinary talent around the Main Line to come together and celebrate a thriving suburban dining scene. The event showcases top chefs and restaurants, but most importantly, fantastic dining values and delicious seasonal dishes. It’s the perfect chance to revisit an old favorite, grab a group of friends for lunch or dinner, or try a new restaurant.

“Main Line Restaurant Week continues to grow in its popularity—which is so fantastic for our prestigious participating restaurants! And the menus this fall are truly exceptional values—and hands down some of the best we’ve ever showcased. I’m so proud of what we are delivering this season,” said Main Line Restaurant Week founder and AroundMainLine.com CEO Sarah Lockard.

Participating restaurants across the Main Line and Philadelphia’s western suburbs will offer special, prix fixe lunch and dinner menus showcasing their chefs’ greatest dishes. Menus will feature lunch for $25 and under (two or three courses) and discounted, three-course dinners (e.g. appetizer, entrée and dessert) priced at $20, $30, $40 and $50 per person. Menus appear on MainLineRestaurantWeek.com as they are finalized and provided by each restaurant.

This season Narberth’s Optima Jewelers has joined Main Line Restaurant Week as the official sponsor. As part of Optima’s sponsorship, Main Line Restaurant Week will offer a grand prize giveaway of a $1,000 diamond pendant.

In addition, Main Line Restaurant Week gives away hundreds of dollars in restaurant gift certificates each and every week leading up to the seven-day event. Fans can check in on the official Facebook page and Twitter account of Main Line Restaurant Week daily for updated giveaways, menus and developing details.

Philly.com/Neighbors Main Line is this season’s media sponsor. And, Main Line Restaurant Week is proud to welcome back OpenTable back as the official reservation partner.

As with each season, Main Line Restaurant Week celebrates with an exciting kickoff party. This year Paoli’s Redhound Grille is the host restaurant. The party will be held Thursday, September 20th from 6pm to 9pm and is free to attend. RSVP is not required and walk-ins are welcome.

Throughout the night, partygoers will be treated to complimentary samples of dishes from Redhound’s Main Line Restaurant Week menus along with discounted drink specials and cocktails. “Redhound is one of our most popular participants each season with Main Line Restaurant Week. They deliver on the service, value and experience so hosting the kickoff party with their team was a no-brainer,” enthused Lockard.
