Pumpkin Palooza in full effect! I love fall more than any other season of the year. So here are the top seven spots around the burbs to make those perfect pumpkin patch fantastic memories this year.

Milky Way Farm hosts Pumpkin Harvest Season, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and corn maze from Sept 28th-Oct 31st. On Pumpkin Harvest weekends, the farm is open from 10am-5pm, and free hayrides run continuously to take visitors to the pumpkin patch. An easy walking path is also available for those who choose to stroll to the patch. Weekend visitors enjoy young farm animals, corn maze, farm fresh ice cream and other products. The farm is also open for pumpkin sales during weekdays in October from 3pm-5pm. Only the walking path is available during weekdays; they do not offer hayrides on weekdays. Milky Way grows 10 acres of pumpkins, which yield approximately 25,000 pumpkins in a favorable weather year!

Fall Harvest Day Weekends at Merrymead Farm are held every Saturday and Sunday during the month of October. Enjoy Scenic Tractor Hayrides around the Farm, Wagon Rides for Children, a cool 700 foot cornstalk tunnel, children’s games, pumpkin painting, inflatables, harvest slinger, farm animals, 5-acre cornfield maze and more. Public weekday hayrides are every week in October: Tuesday through Friday noon, 1pm and 4pm.

An annual trip to Pumpkinland has been a family tradition for generations of Delaware Valley Residents. During the months of September and October, Pumpkinland takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. Larger than life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, local history and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.

Enjoy piles of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes, over 100 tons on display! Find a huge selection of straw bales, corn shocks, toys and fall decorations of all kinds. Don’t get lost in our Straw Bale or Cornfield Mazes!

Don’t miss the annual Pumpkin Festival on None Such Farm! The festival has been running for over 15 years. It has changed over the years, but one thing remains the same, it is still a fun day on the farm. The Pumpkin Festival runs weekends in October, 10am to 4pm.
