Meridith’s in Berwyn, one of the Main Line’s finest restaurants, was the perfect setting for AML’s January 11th business networking event.

Berwyn’s popular Meridith’s American Bistro was the perfect setting for AroundMainLine.com’s first ‘Monday Night Meetup,’ a new free business networking series for Main Liners to meet, make great connections and new friends. Over 70 attendees, 80% of whom were AML Facebook fans, enjoyed fine food and company on the evening of January 11th. “It was really a great group to network with, we were very pleased with the turnout” enthused owner Meridith McLoughlin.

As Philadelphia’s first emagazine, AML has established a very strong, loyal local following with over 1,000 Facebook fans and 1,600 followers on Twitter. Our successful night of networking was exclusively marketed via these social media channels. The vast majority of our attendees told us they had seen the event via our Facebook fan page or via a tweet/retweet from our Twitter account!

Attendees of our Monday Night Meetup at Meridith’s included: members of Wayne’s Deme spa, a dental and medical collaborative; Heather Berkenstock of Lansdale’s Belle Vie Photography and AML’s senior staff photographer; owners of Malvern’s hottest new business, Kiss and Makeup Beauty Boutique, Lisa Biernacki and Darcy Miller; Wayne Helms, owner of Bryn Mawr’s Elite Training Sports and AML client; Trevor Geise and Mark Surkin of Wayne’s Voonder and AML client; Nicole Nelson and Greg Zakowicz of Gluten Free Promise; Julie Clark of Capa Graphics and dozens of other local business owners.

AML’s business networking events and upcoming weeknight parties will continue in March with a cool Girls Night Out party on the Main Line. We will be seeking out other fine restaurants and locations across the Main Line to play host to our next soirée.

AroundMainLine.com’s next party is our highly anticipated annual fundraiser, Be Mine on the Main Line, Thursday February 4th from 6-10pm at Spamps in Conshohocken. Proceeds from Be Mine on the Main Line II will benefit Philadoptables, a new animal charity created to support funding the needs of Philadelphia Animal Control (ACCT). Be Mine on the Main Line II is sponsored by Otto’s BMW!
